The Captains Course - A G-Team Experience - START DATE: OCT. 23, 2023
For young men ages 15 - 25 that aspire to be bold Christian leaders. Learn and apply Biblical ideals, practices, and principles in your pursuit to become prepared to lead for God. By participating you will develop life skills and leadership qualities that build you to become: bonafide community stewards, responsible disciples of others, great imitators of Jesus, loving brothers in Christ to one another, and righteous leaders by example as authorized by God.
The Captains Course is for young men who demonstrate the following:

an authentic desire to know and follow Jesus Christ

a commitment to read, study, and internalize God’s Word daily

an intrinsic motivation to uplift the world with the promises of the Gospel

a pure-hearted, deep love and compassion for others without imposing judgement
-
an altruistic attitude for serving others and the Kingdom of God
-
a will to share the Good News with others and to spend time with God in prayer daily
Monday Training
Join us on the 1st and 3rd Mondays for meaningful gatherings with men. On the 2nd and 4th Mondays, we welcome both the fellows (boys 8th grade and up) and men for enriching sessions. Additionally, experience exciting weekend retreat trips with the boys, and enjoy sporting events and more, happening once a quarter. Come be a part of these inspiring moments with us!
Teacher Love Project
Teacher Love Project, where we spread love and support to teachers. This year, we are thrilled to continue serving and loving the teachers at Simmons Pinckney, the same school we partnered with last year. Additionally, we are excited to expand our outreach and add one more school to our mission. Join us as we make a positive impact on the lives of educators and the communities they serve!
Promise Informed Leadership Academy
Our comprehensive program offers engaging sessions from Monday to Tuesday and Thursday, starting at 8:30 am until 2:45 pm at the YB location. On Wednesdays, our specialized training takes place at the state-of-the-art Wings Basketball Academy facility from 9 am to 12 pm. The GRL Project has a special mission to help people imagine and create enhanced lifestyle experiences within their home environment. How the space of home nurtures and provides is the focus of this unique learning opportunity.

G-Team
The mission of G-Team is to equip people to impact their lives and the lives of others through applying the ideals of the Gospel: LOVE - JOY - PATIENCE - KINDNESS SELF-CONTROL. The mission is to equip people with the tools and resources they need to become leaders who will positively impact the world for Christ. We do this by providing mentorship, teaching, and opportunities for service and outreach. The vision is to see people who are passionate about their faith and committed to living out the ideals of the Gospel - Love, Joy, Kindness, Patience, Self-Control.
We believe that by equipping people to become leaders for God, we can create a better world for all.
Firestarters
Firestarters is an experience that begins with saying yes to God and the journey that follows is filled by exploring His Word, practicing His Way, and experiencing His Wonderment. Firestarters is a lifestyle leadership development opportunity for women. The Firestarter experience can be structured in a variety of ways from groups that gather monthly to pop-up workshops & online courses. This inter-denominational offering is for women by women - learning and growing as God intended. Firestarters begin a personal journey to discover how they are perfectly made by God and find their yes to the pursuit of living the Gospel Rich Lifestyle which is living an abundant life according to Christ and His Promises.

The Yellow Building
The Yellow Building is a site where Why Not Charleston activities are offered. This community center is unique to the Charleston area and located in the heart of beautiful Mount Pleasant, within Charleston County. The address is 1345 Old Georgetown Road, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464. The Yellow Building offers a variety of fun engaging activities for all ages from workshops and book clubs to luncheons and prayer sessions, to concerts, community events and more! The Yellow Building is always fun and offering something new to experience. Most activities only require dropping by or a simple reservation. They are perfect for someone wanting to know more about WNC or who might enjoy a variety of Christain lifestyle activities rather than a concentrated course or training. All are welcome at The Yellow Building.
